Introduction | CD20 is a member of the membrane-spanning 4A gene family. Members of this nascent protein family are characterized by common structural features and similar intron/exon splice boundaries and display unique expression patterns among hematopoietic cells and nonlymphoid tissues. CD20 plays a role in the development and differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells. CD20 is localized to 11q12, among a cluster of family members. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants which encode the same protein. |
Description | Recombinant Anti Human CD20 monoclonal Antibody produced in CHO is a glycosylated polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 80 kDa. CD-20 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Source | CHO. |
Physical Appearance | Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. |
Forrmulation | Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in PBS, pH 7.4. |
Solubility | It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized rAHuCD-20 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. |
Stability | Lyophilized CD-20 Receptor although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CD-20 Receptor should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
